Vivitar 285HV Flash will work with both one Bronica ETR-s and also a Canon 400D?

I have read several conflicting reports on the 285HV. Some say that it has a trigger voltage of about 6 volts, some say 12 volts, said even a 8.5 volts. It should be safe if you use it off-camera with your 400D, as long as the 400D has a PC connection. If you plan to use camera, you should determine the flash-examined at a photo shop, the exact trigger voltage. If you more than 6 or 7 volts, you may want to secure in the wine Hot Shoe to Hot Shoe Safe Sync Invest to 100%. Of course, this whole problem trigger voltage is not affected by use of the Flash with your Bronica. Chuckle when I talk to people about how difficult it is to a non-dedicated flash like the 285HV with a DSLR camera is used. This little dissertation not for them. So, do not use a built-in flash-just takes a little thinking. First you need the ISO is set on your camera. First place The same ISO on the flash unit. Now the really hard part: you have to choose a color coded recording mode to the sensor on the front of the flash - Purple, Blue, Red, yellow, or Manual. Next you need to dial in a round table looking at the flash and adjust the color you selected to the corresponding f-stop and distance-related. At ISO 100, the Red-mode you could f8 at 15 meters. As long as you stay within 15 feet of your subject you can shoot with confidence. Well, if you decide to use the bounce flash, you also need to pause and reflect on how far is it from the flash at the ceiling and then from the ceiling to the subject matter and then how far are you from the issues and add them together - and then change your flash accordingly. The Yellow-f4 mode, you can say at 30 meters. In manual mode is simply a "full dump" - a 100% relief of the lightning. Disclosure time: My first real flash was a Vivitar 283 that I bought in February 1976. I still use it occasionally.
