whats the differnce between a wide angle lense, a fisheye, and a telephoto lense and what does a telephoto do?
please answer seriously
Okay I will avoid telling you to take a class in photography at your local community college.
Wide angle lenses do not have any curvature with the cameras focal plane is parallel to the subject.
A true fisheye lens will photograph exactly 180 degrees in all directions and record it on the film or sensor. What you get is an image that looks like a circle.
Telephoto is a lens that like a telescope lets you reach out and get images you cannot get to (for various reasons .. sports, nature, wild life ...)
